The xx – On Hold (Jamie xx Remix)
My introduction to The xx was the Sander Van Doorn “XX Booty Mix” of “Intro.”This remix from Jamie xx (any relation) is a great groove to start the day.
Emipre Of The Sun – High And Low (Hayden James Remix)
I first saw Empire of the Sun at Coachella, and remembered their ridiculous costumes. I don’t think I’ve seen Hayden James, but if this mix is any indication, I’m missing out.
The Cars – Good Times Roll
I went to Nashville a few weeks ago and saw a great cover band, The MiPs. They played so many hits which I recognized, but never actually knew who the band was (I’m a silly millennial). This is a gem from that evening.
